About AUDIT

The AUDIT is a 10-question screening tool developed by the World Health Organization to identify alcohol use disorders and hazardous drinking patterns.

Score Interpretation:
  • 0-7: Low risk
  • 8-15: Hazardous drinking
  • 16-19: Harmful drinking
  • 20-40: Alcohol dependence
Risk Zones:
  • Zone I: 0-7 (Low risk)
  • Zone II: 8-15 (Hazardous)
  • Zone III: 16-19 (Harmful)
  • Zone IV: 20-40 (Dependence)
