Important Information:
- NT screening is performed between 11+0 and 13+6 weeks gestation
- NT > 3.5 mm is considered increased regardless of gestational age
- Combined screening includes NT, PAPP-A, and free β-hCG
- Risk cut-off is typically 1:250 for Down syndrome
- High-risk results warrant genetic counseling and diagnostic testing
- Normal results do not guarantee a healthy baby
