Triangle Inequality Theorem

The Triangle Inequality Theorem states that for any triangle, the sum of the lengths of any two sides must be greater than the length of the remaining side.

For a triangle with sides a, b, and c, the following must be true:

• a + b > c
• a + c > b
• b + c > a

If any of these conditions are not met, the three lengths cannot form a valid triangle.
